Halter Group B.V. joins the Gibas Group: accelerating industrial automation
Halter Group B.V. has become part of the Gibas Group, based in Nijkerk, the Netherlands. With this step, both organizations combine their complementary expertise in industrial automation. The aim is to accelerate product development and deliver integrated automation solutions to the international market.
Halter is known for its specialized CNC automation solutions and its international sales network. Gibas contributes extensive experience in CNC machines and tooling, with a strong focus on optimizing manufacturing processes. Combined with broad engineering capabilities and expertise in robotics and line integration, this results in a technological portfolio that supports customers from standalone CNC automation solutions through to fully integrated production lines.
According to Stefaan Poppe, CEO of the Gibas Group, the added value lies primarily in the combination of market access and development capability:
“The addition of Halter strengthens Gibas on multiple levels. We can further expand the Halter portfolio in our home markets of the Netherlands and Belgium, while Halter’s international network provides us with direct access to new markets. At the same time, our engineering capabilities enable us to develop new solutions more quickly and scale them across a broader market.”
For Halter, the move primarily brings scale and focus. Guido Leeflang, CEO of Halter Group, explains:
“By becoming part of Gibas, we can focus more strongly on our core business: serving our international customers and further expanding our portfolio. The additional engineering capacity and automation expertise within Gibas enable us to respond more rapidly to increasing complexity and evolving customer demands.”
Strengthening the operational structure will ensure continuity for existing customers and partners, while further integration and joint product development will be pursued at group level.
HALTER develops modular CNC loading robots for a wide range of production environments. Our solutions help manufacturers automate reliably, increase spindle hours, and maintain flexibility.
HALTER automation is used every day in more than 30 countries by manufacturers who rely on practical, proven CNC automation in their production.
Every hour your CNC stands still is money gone. Automation keeps your spindle cutting — even when people aren’t available.
Good operators are hard to find and harder to keep. A robot takes over the repetitive work so your skilled people stay — and new talent actually wants the job.
Shops that automate quote faster, deliver faster, and win more orders. Don’t let the next job go to someone else.
Over 1,000 HALTER-robots running full-time in production across a wide range of industries and machine brands, proving every day their reliability.
Add new functionalities or move your HALTER to another CNC at any time — your automation stays flexible and expands as your production and business needs evolve.
Installed once. Supported for life. Our local partners handle installation, service, and upgrades, backed by our engineering team. We ensure fast, reliable assistance - remote or on-site.
With HALTER, you get more than a robot — a long-term automation partner who keeps your cell performing and profitable as your needs evolve.
